Drum Classes
Drumming & Percussion Instruction
We are proud to present a series of percussion instruction classes designed to provide a solid basis of drumming fundamentals.
Our drum and percussion classes are among the highest acclaimed in the greater Los Angeles area. Our instructional methods are unique in that we teach hand drumming, ceremonial drumming, and all styles of trap set drumming.
We emphasize rhythm structures, encourage reading, ensemble play, creative listening, and improvisation. Traditional Rhythms from various cultures are explored as well as principles of rhythm based healing techniques. We provide charts, record classes, and focus on personal expression, and style development. Group classes are also available. Please check our monthly calendar for scheduled times.

| “Thank you soooo much for your professionalism and talent you shared with our Summer Art Camp 2002 Campers!! I have so enjoyed your assistance and teaching with our students. You are truly gifted and wonderful with the kids. They seem to light up so much when you arrive. I too feel happy, alive and overjoyed seeing you. Perhaps it’s your peaceful, calm and spiritual nature that seems to evoke this from all that meet you. I thank you again for sharing your gifts with all of us at the Los Angeles Arts Academy. Your Percussion/Drum circles have been a magnificent and very positive addition to our camp experience."

| “Just a quick note to tell you how much Nicole and I appreciate you. Your instruction is absolutely superb! Not only are you meticulously conferring the mechanics of drumming to Nicole, but you are also giving her the invaluable knowledge of the history and power of the drum itself. I LOVE that she has a teacher who can give her the authentic names, histories, meanings and uses of each rhythm she is learning… and you do it with such enthusiasm and love. THANKS “
